Calypso Soft Drinks is producing and marketing a single-serve cup format for the fruit-flavoured Vimto drink under a licensing agreement with brand owner Nichols.
The 185ml Vimto Cups (rsp:
25p) contain no added sugar, artificial colours or flavours and will be distributed by Calypso Soft Drinks in the independent and foodservice channels.
“Children love the unique taste of Vimto, while parents and teachers will appreciate the fact that the cup drinks now contain no added sugar,” said Richard Cooke, marketing director for Calypso.
Only last October, a handy-sized 250ml sports cap bottle format was added to the Vimto line-up, designed for kids’ lunchboxes.
