A security system for wine using grapevine DNA has been introduced by Australian wine company BRL Hardy. This is designed to combat the growing incidence of fraud and counterfeiting of premium wines, a problem the industry has spent millions trying to solve. Hardy believes it may have found the answer. The vine DNA is impregnated into light reflective printing ink and applied to a tamper- proof neck label that seals the product. The company's top wine Eileen Hardy Shiraz will be the first to use it. {{DRINKS }}
