The latest innovation in the premium packaged spirits market is a move into 500ml cans. GBL International has introduced two variants of its VK Vodka brand in the format and they will be listed by Safeway from the end of July. Managing director Steve Perez said: "No other major PPS brand has done this. It is a logical extension, especially as this is the preferred packaging in the off-trade for our target market of 18 to 24 year-old-men. Young men are also the main consumers of premium packaged lagers, which are in direct competition with PPSs." {{DRINKS }}
