Halewood International is hoping to push the boundaries of the RTD category with a new Red Square Lager variant combining vodka with lager.

n The company said the citrus-flavoured drink was targeted at women who don’t like lager and men who find RTDs too sweet.

n A £1m marketing campaign has been earmarked for press and outdoor advertising which will feature the strapline ‘Sounds mad, tastes great’.
