Warburtons is gearing up for the summer with a new range of rolls for barbecues.

The latest additions to the baker’s range of rolls are six-packs of seeded burger buns and rolls for hot dog (both rsp: £1.15).

Stars feature on the packaging for both, hinting at what Warburtons called the products “American inspiration”.

“The summer season always sees a peak in outdoor eating occasions such as barbeques and picnics,” said marketing director Richard Hayes. “And With the royal wedding, a succession of bank holidays and a hot summer forecast, this is an ideal time to bring some new news to the rolls market.”

He added: “By launching two new high-quality products under our trusted brand, we will drive growth in the category and increase sales opportunities.”
