Independent wine retailers in the UK have listed a range of wines from Washington as part of a promotional drive for the wine-producing region.
Independent specialists Noel Young Wines and Philglas & Swiggot have teamed up with the Washington Wine Commission (WWC) to take on a portfolio of Washington wines by producers such as L’Ecole No 41, Hedges Family Estate, Woodward Canyon, Gordon Brothers, Waterbrook and Dunham Cellars.
The listings, which form part of the WWC’s targeted generic programme for these wines in the UK, will be supported by a series of promotional activities aimed at increasing consumer awareness and understanding of the region.
