Heinz is muscling in on organic babyfood with a new range of weaning recipes. The initial range consists of six fruit purées, four vegetable purées and two simple meals in 125g jars at 59p. With a 70% volume share of wet babyfood, Heinz's foray into organics will give it a crack at the 22% occupied by organic alternatives. Heinz says it is confident of making substantial market share gains as its research has shown there is little brand distinction between current players in the sector. {{P&P }}
