Bidvest has relaunched its own brand portfolio with four new own-label ranges.
Essential Supplies, Everyday Favourites, Premium Selection and Farmstead will be rolled out until March, offering improved product choice for hospitality and foodservice operators.
Non-food brand Essential Supplies carries more than 40 products including cleaning chemicals, detergents, wrap, foil and film.
Everyday Favourites has more than 600 SKUs, including day-to-day store cupboard ingredients and both frozen and ambient ready prepared products.
More than 100 fine quality food and ingredients products in the Premium Selection range, including premium bakery and desserts and British ready-made meals, are endorsed by the Craft Guild of Chefs.
Bidvest has also launched a fresh meat brand, Farmstead, which offers more than 300 butcher-quality, farm-traceable meat products.
“With our research showing that 50% of all purchases contain own brand products, it is clear there is significant demand for own brand amongst our customers,” said Bidvest Foodservice own brand manager Holly Marrero Easson.
“The own brand portfolio has been developed with the foodie nature of the sector in mind, offering modern and fresh products. For example, there are world food-inspired products as well as British products, providing customers with on-trend and versatile menu options.”
