Musgrave Wholesale Partners officially opened its largest cash & carry site in the South East of Ireland this week and plans to invest an additional €3m in branch revamps over the next three years.

The company, which spent €2m on the 56,000 sq ft outlet on Kilbarry Road, Co Waterford, has so far invested €10m on its MarketPlace network.

The latest site stocks more than 15,000 products and new initiatives include a meat-cutting service, freshly baked breads and a tailored range of products sourced directly from the Far East for Asian restaurants.

Other features include returnable glass bottles and kegs for the pub trade, party food for hotels and caterers and a 10,000 sq ft chilled and frozen section - quadruple the capacity of the previous site.
