Toiletries wholesaler Pricecheck has registered a record-breaking year, with turnover exceeding £54m for 2016/17.
The second generation family-owned business has now set its sights on reaching £100m by 2020, after growing sales by £11.1m in 2015/2016.
The international distributor of food, cosmetics and other branded consumer goods exports to more than 75 countries around the world.
Debbie Harrison, joint-MD with Mark Lythe, said: “After winning the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in 2015, we’ve gone from strength to strength. We’ve increased the number of countries we export to and have further developed the strong relationships we have with key direct suppliers from across the globe.
“Seeing the turnover grow from £40m to over £54m in the last three years has been a tremendous achievement for all involved and we couldn’t be happier, but now the aim for the business is to reach £100m by 2020.”
Established in 1978, the company now employs 100 staff and operates a company placement scheme for students from Sheffield Hallam University.
“We’re extremely proud of our relationship with Sheffield Hallam University and have been delighted with the placement students we’ve received in the four years we’ve been working together,” HR manager Lucy Goddard added.
“This year has been truly exceptional and we’re excited to welcome back the students we’ve had here into full-time roles.”
