Today’s Group is to launch two category guides, on craft beer and wine, for its independent retailers.
The booklets are designed to give retailers insight on the categories, offer ranging support and help them to maximise their profits.
Available now on the Today’s website, the wine guide was made in conjunction with leading wine suppliers and provides an overview of different world wines, an introduction to tasting and a list of the top 20 brands in the UK convenience channel.
A detachable core-range shopping list detailing the value band, origin and rsp for ease of ordering is also available to download.
“The guide walks retailers through three key strategies designed to make their store a key destination for wine,” said Today’s retail director John Kinney.
The group will shortly launch a similar guide for craft beer, offering the same support to maximise sales in the profitable category. Both guides follow a soft drinks guide released last summer.
