Wing Yip customers can now collect orders from thousands of locations across the UK, thanks to a partnership between the oriental wholesaler and UPS Access Point.
The company has added a delivery option that allows customers to collect from 2,000 locations, including small shops and retail outlets. It has been added as part of a 12-month brand development programme designed to “ensure a complete multichannel experience”.
The service, which became available last week, allows customers to order and collect up to 20kg of products from participating sites, which the customer can select according to postcode. Delivery is £4.99 for customers in England, Wales and Scotland and £6.99 for Northern Ireland.
Wing Yip has also launched a mobile version of its website to enable customers to shop on the go.
“We’re continually investing in our in-store experience and it’s important that we are able to match this with our online offer and ensure a complete multi-channel experience,” said director Brian Yip. “We’ve developed this knowing that our consumers want greater convenience.”
