Sainsbury is close to announcing an online venture with a specialist wine merchant to extend the range of its e-tail offer. And it is looking for a similar partnership with an organic operation to offer a complete range of organic fresh and packaged goods. E-commerce director Patrick McHugh said the wine deal would be an important hint of things to come. Taste for Life branded internet terminals will be put within the stores' wine departments over the coming months offering an extensive catalogue for home delivery. {{NEWS }}
