Van den Bergh Foods is adding a Winter Sauce of the Season, Moroccan Chicken, to its Chicken Tonight range. Based on a north African dish called Tagine, Moroccan Chicken contains honey, apricots, raisins and Moroccan spices( rsp £1.49 per 500g jar). Available from mid October, it replaces the summer sauce Southern Louisana. Alison Cousin, category controller for recipe sauces at Van den Bergh Foods, said seasonal additions gave consumers something more adventurous and exotic from "a name they can trust". {{P&P }}
