Wrigley is gearing up for the summer season with a raft of NPD under its sugar confectionery portfolio.

The Starburst brand is being expanded with a new Smoothies variant in sticks (rsp 39p) and sharing bags (rsp £1.37). Smoothies will consist of strawberry & banana, blueberry & strawberry and mango & passion flavours, and all are blended with a yoghurt flavour.

An apple & orange flavoured chew is being added to sister brand Starburst Choozers, which has also been given a more colourful look to boost standout.

A redesign for Skittles includes a new rainbow logo to build on the 'taste the rainbow' strapline.

Starburst Smoothies will be supported by a multi-media push in the summer.
