Wrigley has recruited the über-trendy British fashion designer Henry Holland to create two limited-edition designs for its Extra chewing gum brand.

The trendy black & white-based designs, which are rolling out now across the big four multiples, feature on the brand’s peppermint and spearmint Extra Big One tubs.

They have been created to “look as good as the rest of your accessories”, the company said.

Launched in 2007, the tubs range now accounts for 6.6% of Extra sales in the UK [Nielsen].
