FrieslandCampina is revamping its Yazoo flavoured milk brand with packaging to highlight its ‘healthy dairy’ credentials and increase stand-out on shelf.

The new design features more white, to draw attention to the fact that Yazoo contains 94% milk, and the ‘milk shaken up’ strapline is given more prominence.

The new packaging design is being rolled out across the entire Yazoo flavoured milk portfolio now, and is expected to take a few weeks to complete.

Multipacks will also highlight Yazoo’s health credentials, with flashes reading ‘Low in fat’, ‘No ­artificial sweeteners or ­flavours’ and ‘School ­approved’ to signal that Yazoo meets UK regulations for use in schools.

Trade marketing manager Helen Cridge said the design would resonate with existing Yazoo buyers as well as attracting new shoppers.
