Yeo Valley Organic has launched a trio of super premium lines. Crème fraîche with blackcurrant, triple chocolate truffle, and orange and chocolate truffle flavours come in 500ml tubs retailing at £2.69. Yeo Valley says demand for organic ice cream grew by 25% last year, similar to that achieved by its yogurts when first launched in the early 90s. Since then, it claims, the latter has achieved double digit growth ­ a goal it aims to repeat in ice cream. Marketing director Ben Cull said: "Our initial recipes are better value and have a better taste than other luxury recipes, but now we are moving upmarket with these super luxury recipes." {{P&P }}
