The Apple Flapjack pots (rsp: £1.39/500g), which contain pieces of apple and oats, will be available from Tesco, Sainsbury's, Waitrose, Morrisons and Asda from 6 September. The whole-milk rhubarb pots launch at the same time. The current limited-edition Lemon Curd will become a permanent line.
Yeo Valley said the flavour, launched in June, had been its most successful limited edition to date, outselling its predecessor, the now permanent Toffee Caramel, by 56%.
Head of brand marketing Ben Cull said limited editions had proved a good way to "surprise" existing Yeo Valley customers and attract new ones. The launch of Apple Flapjack follows a limited-edition flavour competition among customers.
