Young's has introduced a new type of scallop-edged packaging for its frozen fish-in-sauce range.

The packaging has been designed to make the products more easily identifiable in store, with the extra carton space used to provide additional information on the products' provenance and health.

The packs, which are made from a minimum of 90% recycled material, will shortly be available in Morrisons and on promotion in Tesco.

"The challenge of reducing packaging got us to think about design and shape and to be a bit more creative in the frozen sector," said a spokeswoman.
