The manufacturers have unveiled new launches for Thornton’s, Ferrero and M&M’s

Confectionery giants Mars and Ferrero have both unveiled their Easter 2023 ranges, with new treats for M&M’s, Galaxy, Ferrero Rocher, and Thorntons.

Mars has added a duo of new M&M’s Easter Shapes – hollow chocolate shapes filled with mini M&M’s, wrapped in colourful foil – and a Galaxy Caramel Truffles Luxury Egg.

It will launch a further five new Easter eggs exclusively into Tesco. They are: Twix Large Egg, Twix White Extra Large Egg, Maltesers White Truffles Luxury Egg, Maltesers Orange Buttons Extra Large Egg, and Galaxy Cookie Crumble Giant Egg (rsp: £5.29-£11.99).

The confectionery giant will bring back M&M’s Speckled Eggs in new-look packaging. Its Maltesers Bunny range, Galaxy mini eggs, and various “popular” Easter lines will also return to retailers.

Ferrero, meanwhile, is adding a new 100g Ferrero Rocher Bunny for Easter.

The confectionery giant will roll out a “colourful” redesign across its entire range of Thorntons’ kids eggs and add a 90g Thorntons white chocolate bunny.

It will also bring back its duo of Ferrero Rocher Easter eggs and Kinder Surprise seasonal lines.

They will roll into grocery and convenience stores in January 2023 (rsp: TBC).

Ferrero UK&I sales director Jason Sutherland said he was “confident consumers will still want to spend on special occasions such as Easter and will look towards trusted and well-known names when they do so”.

“As a result, we’ve expanded our Easter range to provide more choice for shoppers. We’ve also refreshed our packaging to highlight our much-loved brands, ensuring they stand out on shelf and can help retailers create excitement in-store, both for existing and new customers.”
