Unilever’s tea brand (Britain’s biggest) has lost £11.2m, thanks to the decline in sales of black tea. Falling sales aren’t the only problem; commodity costs are soaring. PG’s fruit, herbal and green teas, however, saw 18.5% value growth in 2016, after the extension of the range.
