A Pot Noodle contaminated with Sudan 1 has been illegally placed for sale on eBay UK.
A spokesman for eBay said it had strict policies against the sale of such items as well as certain food products. “If eBay becomes aware that a user has broken one of our strict listing policies, the infringing listing is removed.”
As The Grocer went to press, the Pot Noodle had received nine bids, the latest of which totalled £1.24.
