Shoppers will now be able to buy domestic appliances such as fridges, freezers and dishwashers from Iceland’s online service.
Launching today – in partnership with DRL Limited, the parent company of Appliances Online – ‘Iceland Appliances’ will offer more than 2,800 products, from 29 major electronic and homeware brands, and can be accessed through a dedicated section on the frozen food retailer’s website.
With deliveries available nationwide seven days a week, customers can also contact a dedicated Bolton-based Iceland Appliances call centre, open 8am-10pm daily.
“Iceland has a great heritage in appliances and was for many years the UK’s top seller of fridges and freezers,” said Iceland director of delivered sales John Mackie, who said the service will have a Price Match guarantee backed by daily checking of over 25,000 prices from competitors.
“We are really excited to be going back into this market offering an even wider range of top quality appliances and the launch of Iceland Appliances builds on the success of our online grocery shopping service, which has exceeded all our expectations.”
