This will be the third price cut it has announced this year, meaning its prices will have been reduced nearly £200m since Christmas.
Marketing director Tim Mason said: “These cuts make it easier and even cheaper for Tesco customers to follow a healthy lifestyle.”
Fresh produce is one area the supermarket is targeting, with the price of some apples, pears and bananas due to drop up to 27%.
The price of fish such as tuna, salmon and trout will also drop by up to 25%.
Tesco also plans to extend its range of Value fruit and vegetables, starting with the launch next week of its Value seedless grapes and Value Broccoli.
