The 50-strong trading team at Musgrave Budgens Londis has been integrated at Harefield HQ and is run by former Budgens ambient trading controller Barry Williams.
He has restructured the department into three business units, each managed by a head of buying - former Budgens senior trading controller for fresh food, Steve Carter, will be responsible for fresh foods and former Londis trading directors Kenton Lawton and John Taylor will head staple grocery & non food and impulse respectively.
Two category managers have been introduced for each business unit. Trading managers buying for both Budgens and Londis report to them.
