T&T Beverages, the low-calorie soft drinks company that came to prominence through its sponsorship of ITV pop wannabe programme Popstars in 2001, has been placed into liquidation and its trademarks and products put up for sale.

Smith & Williamson, the financial services company acting as liquidator for T&T Beverages, said that it was looking for buyers for its assets, including trademarks and products such as Jazzberry, Tropicombo, Red Orange Passion and Lazy Lemon.

Kevin Weir, from Smith & Williamson, said: "The company had been looking for an investment vehicle to take it to the next level. It had received no acceptable offers so decided to carry out an orderly wind-down of the company."

No set value had been placed on the products and not all of the possible interested parties had been approached, he added.
