Marketing activity is set to heat up in the pies and slices market as Ginsters and Pukka Pies launch new ad campaigns.

Ginsters returns to TV screens on 13 February for the first time in four years as part of a £4m investment earmarked for the brand this year - its biggest spend to date.

Showing on satellite and terrestrial channels, Ginster’s TV campaign comprises two executions - The Joke and The Return - created to “re-engage” with the brand’s core male audience.

Pukka Pies is also launching what it claims is its biggest push, but is reaching out to mums “under pressure to deliver at mealtimes” with its TV campaign. The push kicks off this Monday.
