GlaxoSmithKline is gearing up for the colds and flu season by adding two products to its Beechams stable and bringing out a combined Day and Night Nurse capsule pack.
All three are available from next week, with marketing support kicking in later in the autumn.
Beechams Decongestant Plus with Paracetamol (rsp: £2.69, 16 tablets) is aimed at sufferers of blocked noses and stuffy heads. It will get dedicated support of around £500,000, while fellow Beechams newcomer All in One Tablets (£3.39, 16 tablets)  a complete cold and flu remedy with the same multi-symptom relief as its liquid counterpart  will be backed to the tune of £2.5m.
The Day and Night Nurse Capsules will get £1.5m support including TV ads and a new strapline, Always on call' (£4.49, 24 capsules).
