Highland Spring grew sales of its sparkling water by 8% in 2010, the company said today.

It also claimed to have achieved a record 14.1% share of the market.

News of the performance comes as Highland Spring prepares to launch what it called its “biggest ever integrated promotion”. The ‘New Balls for Britain’ push offers consumers the chance to win balls made by leading sports goods brands including Gilbert and Mitre.

“Continuing our long running association with active sport, the campaign will help retailers boost sales over the critical summer months,” said brand marketing chief Paul Condron.

“This will be a highly engaging promotion with quality premiums across an accessible range of sports with wide consumer appeal.”
