Pie specialist Holland's is launching a ready-to-eat range, which it claims will create a new sub-category of cold eat pastry products.
The nine-strong range of pies, pasties, slices and a sausage roll, which can also be heated in a microwave, will be available in Norwest Co-op forecourts this month and in front-of-store snacking fixtures from September.
They come in special packaging. Consumers tear off the top half and use the remaining half as a holder.
