Yoplait Dairy Crest (YDC) is reintroducing its ice-cream-style limited edition flavours to its Frubes fromage frais tubes range in anticipation of a hot summer.
Three limited edition flavours, Vanilla Scoop, Banana Blast and Strawberry Burst, replace Frubes Strawberry Sensation, which was launched in January. The new flavours come in a box of nine 40g tubes, with a rsp of £1.95.
Product manager Pauline Vicente said: "The ice-cream-style flavours proved so popular with mums and kids when they were first introduced last year we've brought them back. With the limited edition strategy we are able to add variety to our range, which helps drive penetration, frequency and weight of purchase."
Vicente added that new flavours were designed to have strong summer appeal and that mums were also encouraged to freeze the products to give their children an alternative to ice cream.
