Fags are cheesy 

Eating dairy products can help people stop smoking, according to research published in Nicotine and Tobacco Research. Scientists found foods such as cheese or yoghurt made cigarette smoke taste much worse. 

Carbon roadmap 

Defra has completed the first part of work on a carbon roadmap for the industry by working out greenhouse gas emissions from dairy farms. It is now looking at processing and retailing and will present its findings in November. 

Morrisons milk 

Morrisons has gone one better than Asda by selling two four-pint bottles of milk for £1.99. It launched the promotion in response to an Asda two-for-£2 campaign.
