Irn-Bru has turned back the clock in its latest marketing push, which features a limited-edition heritage can and a re-run of one of the brand's most fondly remembered TV ads.

The heritage can, available in Scotland now in a single 330ml and a six-pack, priced 39p and £2 respectively, features the Irn-Bru logo from 1947 when the spelling of AG Barr's Iron Brew was changed to Barr's Irn-Bru for the first time.

It will be supported by a rerun of the 1980s Steamroller commercial on Scottish television channels for one week from 2 September.
