Cravendale has a history of memorable, quirky adverts - and now it’s delivered another.

The documentary-style ad visits Cravendale in search of its ‘mystical moonicow’ - supposedly the source of its fine milk. Some folk doubt its existence, apparently, but villagers - including the mayor, a sage farmer and a rather intense young woman - assure us of its reality.

Supposed amateur footage and old newsreels demonstrate impressive dedication to detail, as well as a keen wit. But, of course, the real proof is simply in the fresh taste. And as no one claims to have milked a moonicow, it must just be the good stuff we can all buy, right? Well, a mysterious cowpat (really) ensures a note of ambiguity remains. Spooky stuff.
