Kraft Heinz has added two variants to its flavoured Beanz range.

The Peri Peri and Smoked Bacon flavours will be rolled out into stores from next week (rsp: 95p), joining the existing BBQ, Curry and Fiery Chilli variants on shelves.

The duo was developed on the back of research that revealed the newcomers as the “top two varieties on likelihood to purchase and appeal”, said assistant brand manager Umme Ali, adding it would help consumers “add interest to meals with minimum effort”.

The new flavours will be supported by in-store and digital activity.

The flavoured range was introduced in 2013, pitched as ideal for people who like to personalise their beans. Since then, it has clocked up £9m in sales [Nielsen Scantrack March 2016].

“The existing Heinz Beanz flavours range is a popular choice with consumers, especially young professionals, students and busy families,” said Ali.
