BBC Worldwide UK is adding a history magazine to its stable of titles which includes Radio Times, BBC Wildlife and BBC Music Magazine. BBC History Magazine will make its debut in April, it was announced this week. Publisher Sue Kerr said: "The launch of this new magazine is further evidence of our commitment to build on the strength of BBC programmes. We want to offer viewers and listeners the opportunity to enjoy their interest in history across all the media." The magazine will be edited by Greg Neale who helped launch the Daily Telegraph's Weekend section and worked as environment correspondent for the Sunday Telegraph before doing a history degree. Commenting on the launch of the title Neale said: "There is a growing interest in historical topics ­ witness the success of recent BBC History Zone programmes ­ which I hope the magazine will reflect."
