Fox's is launching ...Put the Kettle on this week in a bid to boost the flagging everyday biscuit category. The company aims to encourage consumers to do as the name suggests. "We drink 40 million hot beverages in the home every year and 61% of biscuits are eaten with a hot drink," said senior brand manager Adrian Precious. "There's a massive opportunity for brand association." The everyday biscuit sector is the second largest in the biscuit market behind chocolate biscuit bars but less than a third of the brands here are growing.
