Move over 50 Cent and Eminem, there’s a new rapper in town, and he goes by the name of Rocky R.
The purple-clad gangsta robin is back in the recording studio this week, laying down a rap for a TV ad to promote Rocky Rubble, the latest biscuit bar brand from Fox’s.
Fox’s hopes that the combination of animation and rap music will heighten the credibility of the brand in the playground and appeal to schoolchildren, the brand’s target audience.
The TV campaign will run to July 14 in support of the rice crispies and milk chocolate biscuit, which has an rsp of 99p for five.
