Tesco is tapping in to the market for Diwali products for the first time, with a dedicated range celebrating the Hindu festival of lights. Included in the range are Indian twists of classic British treats, such as chai-spiced fudge.

Inspired by traditional Indian sweets, known as mithai, the range rolled out from early September and features a mix of sharing platters, cupcakes and sweet treats. With products starting at 70p, the range is the first of its kind for the retailer
