What's it like to work for your company? Fast-paced, and exhilarating at times.

Why is it a good employer? We are highly committed to training; our aim is that every employee should have the chance to gain at least one formal qualification while in our employment.

What's the best thing about working there? Working with like-minded people who passionately believe in producing great-tasting yogurts.

Does the company offer any unusual benefits? As much yogurt and rice pudding as we can eat!

How does the company differ from its rivals? When we talk about 'family' business it doesn't get much better than this. We are one of the first organic dairies in the UK and have remained true to the organic values of founder Rachel Rowlands.

Is there a definable company culture? We are proud and respectful of our history and focus on delivering profit to enable us to invest in our staff and strive to be the best.

If the company were a car what would it be and why? A Lexus LS 600 as it is high-quality, top of the range and good for the environment.

What's the training like? We continue to expand our internal training syllabus, forging links with local government training bodies and colleges, and have built good partnerships with external training providers. We offer more than 800 e-learning courses and have a dedicated e-learning computer room. We support ongoing NVQ and Modern Apprenticeship training courses and ESOL.

Has the company won any awards in the past few years as an employer? In 2006 we won the employer category Age Positive Award for the south west Wales region, and in 2008 received the CIPD south west Wales region Best People Practice Award for e-learning.

What's your proudest achievement over the past 12 months? Completing my CPP course to become an associate member of CIPD. This has enhanced my knowledge of the legal aspects of HR and given me increased confidence when dealing with staff issues.

What is the most important or challenging HR issue you are dealing with? Balancing staffing levels to meet production demands. Fluctuations in staffing are covered by using the University College of Wales' student employment agency and by our partnership with the local Job Centre.

Are you looking for any people right now? We are not recruiting at the moment but always welcome speculative CVs/applications.

How does one go about applying for a job? Vacancies are on our website, and more specialist roles are advertised in industry publications. We also welcome speculative enquires comprising a CV and covering letter.
