What's it like to work for your company? Exciting. The team is knowledgeable and supportive.

Why is it a good employer? Every employee is encouraged to take ownership of their work. We work closely across teams and the environment is professional but not hierarchical.

What's the best thing about working there? My role allows me to work on a variety of projects, giving real insight into the company and activities. We are able to put business improvements in place quickly and all of the teams feel connected.

Does the company offer any unusual benefits? The Jordans & Ryvita Company has a family ethos and as such believes in involving the entire family, not just the staff.

How does the company differ from its rivals? Jordans likes to take product development a step further and is dedicated to creating a sustainable future for British farmers through the Conservation Grade farming scheme. Ryvita is constantly looking to develop tasty, healthy new products.

Is there a company culture? The company puts consumers at the heart of all we do. We are encouraged to share our thoughts and everyone's opinion is valued, which makes employees feel respected.

What's the training like and what qualifications can I earn? We believe that everyone's responsible for driving their own training and development and we support this. We also involve people in mentoring and coaching.

Has the company won any awards? Jordans won the IGD Food Industry Awards Environment Award in 2006 and has been recognised for its environmental work.

What's your proudest achievement over the past 12 months? Having played a key role in supporting the graduate programme within Associated British Foods (ABF) grocery group, which involved recruiting talented individuals into the business and providing placements across the ABF businesses.

Are you looking for any people right now? Yes, we are currently recruiting for an international demand planner, research manager and a change innovation manager.

What tips would you offer jobseekers? Always be well prepared. Give yourself a good understanding by researching the company. Be sure to gather as much information as you can throughout the recruitment process.

Are you working on anything exciting right now? We are engaging directly with our consumers on both brands. On Ryvita we are asking them to upload their favourite Ryvita recipes on www.ryvita.co.uk to win £1,000 worth of Sainsbury's vouchers. At Jordans we are running a fun competition at www.fruslifruityfun.com where there are thousands of Frusli bars and a holiday up for grabs.
