What's it like to work for your company? Exciting. Our mission is to excite the world's beer drinkers so we're always working on something great.

Why is it a good employer? We've set ourselves a target to have 300 promotable people a year across the business so, every quarter, we review the whole organisation.

What's the best thing about working there? We recruit people who are not just the best at what they do, but have a great attitude.

Does the company offer any unusual benefits? Not that unusual for a brewer discounted beer products!

How does the company differ from its rivals? It combines deep-rooted family heritage with a passion for innovation an unrivalled blend of old and new.

Is there a definable company culture? We've put great effort into thinking about the right culture to enable us to achieve our ambitions. We call it 'Our Brew' and have won awards for it.

If the company were a car what would it be? The next one that everyone wants!

What's the training like and what qualifications can I earn? We have a wide range of training to support and develop people, from brewing (Institute of Brewing & Distilling qualifications) to accountancy (CIMA) to HR (CIPD) as well as skills such as leadership development.

Has the company won any awards or been recognised in the past few years as an employer? I don't think we've entered anything recently, but we do benchmark our employee engagement scores through Towers Watson. In the last survey we scored 88% on engagement, which puts us in the top 10% of all high-performing companies.

What's your proudest achievement of the past 12 months? I joined in July and have been working on our strategy to develop best-in-class marketing and sales capability. It's too early to talk about achievements, but I'm excited about what we're planning.

What is the most important HR issue you are dealing with at the moment? Recruiting and developing the best talent a pipeline of the best beers means a pipeline of the best people.

Are you looking for any people right now and, if so, where? We currently have roles in sales, marketing and production.

What tips would you offer jobseekers? Apply for jobs that allow you to do what you do best every day.
