Nestlé Rowntree is to relaunch its Tooty Frooties fruit flavoured chewy sweets in the week before Christmas. The new sweets have separately flavoured centres, to make the taste sharper and longer lasting. Nestlé Rowntree went back to the drawing board altogether with the strawberry and blackcurrant variants. Tooty Frooties will appear on sponsorship idents for Nestlé Birthday Club on the Cartoon Network throughout 2001. The sweets, aimed at children, are available in a 36 count box with an rsp of 27p per bag. The Rowntree's brand was supported by a £5m media spend in 2000, featuring the search for the mythical Rowntree campaign. {{P&P }}
