Camelot has dropped the Instants' logo from scratchcards and is now promoting the cards under the names of the individual games.
Director of marketing communications Jo Kenrick said: "There is very little awareness or equity in the Instants name ­ only 20% of our regular players recognise the product as Instants."
The rebranding is part of plans to broaden the range and appeal of scratchcards. Those include a link with games company Hasbro to launch a nostalgic scratchcard based on the Connect 4 game on May 1.
