Camelot is to launch a raft of new national lottery services for retailers this year.
Its auto-replenishment initiative for scratchcards will be rolled out after tests with TM Retail. This uses EPoS and Camelot sales and shipment data to predict and despatch orders, cutting the work of re-ordering.
Camelot is also working to make its Fast Pay card, which can currently only be obtained at Tesco, available at other retailers. Camelot sales director Steve Lucas said: &aquot;We're in conversation with a number of major supermarkets about extending Fast Pay.&aquot;
The card enables customers to pay for tickets at standard tills rather than at separate terminals.
Camelot plans to further roll out its Convenience Central pilot scheme at Spar and then other retailers. This enables consumers to buy scratchcards from tills.
Further plans include the launch this summer of Dream Number, a draw-based game to help fund the 2012 Olympics. And Lotto Extra will be axed.
