London based convenience chain Europa Foods is on target to break the 100 stores barrier over the next three to four years, said buying director Hament Kotadia. Europa operates 72 stores in central London under a range of fascias that includes Cullens, Harts the Grocer and Europa Foods. Cullens, a "mini Fortnum & Mason", is the most successful format and usually the first choice of fascia for acquisitions, he added. The latest Cullens opened on October 18 at Portcullis House directly opposite the Houses of Parliament. The chain has also acquired two stores from Superfood & Wine this month. {{NEWS }}
