Golden Wonder has recruited Rob Morgan, director of Boots brands and product development, as marketing director. He will be responsible for Golden Wonder’s consumer marketing programme.

In addition, Pete Fazal will join the company as sales director on December 1, responsible for customer management and development.

Fazal moves from sales,
marketing and distribution specialist Petty, Wood where he was sales director for the UK and Ireland.

The two appointments follow the departure of marketing director Kirsty Taylor six weeks ago. Taylor was not a member of the board, but the post has become a board level role. Commercial director and board member David Revell is leaving at the end of December after six years with the company. Revell handled sales for Golden Wonder and Fazal will take over management of this function in his newly- created post.

Chief executive Ed Jackson said: “I am delighted that two senior marketing and sales figures, both with a proven industry track record, are going to be strengthening the Golden Wonder team.”

The restructuring comes in the wake of last year’s acquisition of Golden Wonder by Middle East fmcg giant Longulf and the appointment of Jackson in April.

In further changes, Golden Wonder has appointed Mary Millar human resources director and Steve Mensforth as finance director.
