The search is on for the grocery industry’s brightest young leaders in a competition open to all members of IGD’s Leading Edge networking club.
Entrants must submit a short report focusing on the following question: Thinking about the issue of health and diet, what role do you believe the industry should play? How can your company contribute to this?
Entries must be received by August 17. The winners will be announced at this year’s Leading Edge conventions in September. At stake is a first prize of £1,000 cash, an IGD training course (worth £395) and a contemporary piece of glassware. Second prize is £600 cash and an IGD training course. And third prize is £300 cash and a training course.
This year’s Leading Edge conventions - on the theme: Unlock your Potential - take place in Leeds on September 6 and London on September 27. Speakers include Rachel Elnaugh, the founder of Red Letters Days, plus executives from Procter & Gamble, The Co-operative Group, Total Dynamix, Archimedes Consulting, Valley Grown Salads and IGD.
