Premier International Foods is capitalising on Euro 2000 football fever with an on pack promotion for Typhoo. In line with the tea brand's new strapline, Two Thumbs Fresh, from this month consumers can get a pair of inflatable thumbs free with every 160 bag box of Typhoo. The thumbs have the England football team colours ­ white with a red cross ­ and are branded England and Typhoo. Instore, the thumbs will be merchandised alongside the packs and consumers can pick up a pair of thumbs with their pack. Elaine Hughes, brand manager for Typhoo, said: "We have made the promotion instant collect' to keep it simple and give an instant boost to sales." The promotion will be supported by PR activity in football and men's titles and thumbs will be handed out at Premiership matches. Typhoo rolled out its new Two Thumbs Fresh' ad campaign at the beginning of April. It is running on TV, billboards, London Underground posters and shopping trolleys. {{P&P }}
